Blackboard is an educational software platform that provides a user-friendly environment for online teaching and learning.
It is also a powerful course-authoring tool that allows you to extend the classroom or create a totally online learning environment. Blackboard features include threaded discussion forums, digital drop box for submission of student assignments, online gradebook, document sharing and e-mail messaging.
Access
Access to Blackboard is available to the entire ACPHS community. Your username and password for Blackboard is synchronized with your ACPHS username and password. You can access Blackboard by going to http://community.acphs.edu7 days a week anytime, anywhere.
Password
Your Blackboard username and password is synchronized with your windows username and password. Use the ACPHS password reset assistant to change your password. If you do not know your ACPHS username contact the ITS Help Desk at 518-694-7358 or in person. See our help page for service hours and locations. Please remember members of ACPHS-IT will never ask for your password so please protect that and never give that out.
Online Protocol
You should behave with respect toward your classmates and your instructor. All
conduct and disciplinary guidelines including such matters as plagiarism and
cheating are taken seriously in an online class. In addition, taking an online
class presents new challenges and new situations. Please review our guidelines before you
begin your class.
Downloads
The following files will allow you to bulk enroll participants into your organization. Select the "Batch Enroll Users"
button from the Users menu in your organization, then browse to the .csv file and hit submit.
