Wireless
ACPHS' wireless
networks are available
throughout all
locations on the
Albany and regional campuses.
Wireless connectivity is accessed on one of our three main wireless networks.
Access is granted automatically for students using the acp_student_wireless, for faculty and
staff using the acp_employee_wireless, and for guests using the acp_guest_wireless. For students, faculty, and staff
please login with your ACPHS username and password.

Important things to know before
connecting to ACPHS's Network
- Your computer is your
responsibility: ACPHS' IT
department will do as much as we
can, but we do not make repairs or
offer service to personal computers
and cannot be held responsible if
your computer cannot be brought up
to the minimum standards required by
our Network Policies.
- Computers with viruses or
spyware may have their internet shut
off to protect the integrity and
performance of the student network.
It may be a week or more before your
computer can be reconnected. Don't
let it happen to you!
- All persons accessing ACPHS
Network Resources must use a valid
username and password, and comply
with all ACPHS policies and all
applicable laws and regulations. In
addition, all computers must meet
the following requirements:
- The computer must be free of
viruses and must be running a
current (updated) version of
anti-virus software.
- The computer must be current
with Operating System
updates/patches, whether it is
through Windows update or Mac OS
patches.
- The computer must be free of
spyware. Utilizing free software
such as AdAware or SpyBot is
strongly recommended.
- The computer name must match
the individual’s username.
- The supported platforms are
Windows XP with Service Pack 3,
and Windows Vista with Service
Pack 1.
- Game systems are not able to
authenticate to our network and
are therefore not supported.
ACPHS reserves the right to
disconnect any user or computer from the
ACPHS network at any time, without
warning, to ensure network integrity.
ACPHS does not formally support or
endorse any third party software or
applications. Use at your own risk.
